We are proud to announce that Diaverum France has received certifications for ‘High quality care’ with honours, by the Haute Autorité de Santé (HAS) for seven of its clinics, following an official audit process that took place in 2023.

Certifications were awarded for our clinics in Mulhouse, Paris (Jaurès, Mont Louis and Saint-Maur), Angers, Château-Gontier and Draguignan, who offer a portfolio of renal care services ranging from preventive care and haemodialysis, to the coordination and provision of multidisciplinary care.

HAS is an independent public body tasked with the evaluation of health products from a medical and quality perspective. It evaluates the clinical benefit of drugs, medical devices, procedures and other health technologies, as well as health establishments, and promotes best practices. Through its recommendations, HAS can support the public authorities in reimbursement and pricing decision-making with regards to the national health fund. With reference to establishments, the level of certification is decided by HAS, following an external evaluation, providing an independent assessment of the quality and safety of care in healthcare facilities.

Our clinics were evaluated following many criteria, grouped into three categories: the patient, the healthcare teams and the clinic. The outstanding standards upheld, resulted in receipt of ‘High quality care’ certifications with honours.

Commenting on the certifications, Toon Keupink, Country Managing Director for Diaverum France, said: “The implementation of Diaverum’s proprietary Care Delivery Model, that enables us to deliver life-enhancing renal care, underpinned by clinical and medical standards to ensure consistent quality across all our clinics, has been integral to meeting HAS’ standards of quality and safety of care”.

Valérie Boireau, Country Nursing and Quality Director for Diaverum France, added: “The HAS certifications are a testament to the world-class renal care we offer to patients, and a result of all the hard work and dedication that our staff put in on a daily basis – I couldn’t be more proud of everyone”.

Currently, we operate 19 clinics in France, located in the regions of Île-de-France and Provence-Alpes-Côte-d’Azur, as well as in Angers and Mulhouse, where over 700 staff care for almost 2,000 patients.
