Countdown to the new kidney treatment centre begins
We are gearing up for the opening of the new Redditch kidney treatment centre on Wednesday 30th March 2016.
This purpose built clinic will be the fifth kidney treatment centre in the Birmingham area to be operated by Diaverum on behalf of the University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Trust, and it will be Diaverum’s 17th centre in the UK.
To maintain the same consistent quality, we are working with the same contractor that built the four other units in the Birmingham area. The design follows the same guidelines as the other clinics, providing a modern space, improved features for both patients and staff and above all a safe, sustainable and comfortable environment that meets patients requirements. The clinic will offer 20 spacious stations plus four isolation rooms, four consulting rooms and a large reception area. It will also feature a range of amenities, including upgraded individual television units, free internet service, free and separate parking for patients and staff, recessed media panels and new Braun dialysis machines.
We are excited about this new facility and are looking forward to giving you an exclusive, behind-the-scenes tour of the building. Visits will be arranged in March for patients, families, carers and friends to come along and have a sneak preview before the clinic officially opens for treatment. Your clinic manager, Liz Simpson and Area Manager, Kim Beak will be on hand to welcome you and answer any questions you may have. In the meantime, if you have any comments or queries, please contact Kim Beak on firstname.lastname@example.org .
We look forward to welcoming you to your new kidney treatment centre soon.
