Your access to and use of the Site is subject to these Terms of Use and all applicable laws and regulations. By accessing and browsing the Site, you accept, without limitation or qualification these Terms of Use and acknowledge that these Terms of Use constitute the entire agreement between you and Diaverum regarding your use of the Site, and supersedes any prior agreements in relation to your use of the Site. You represent that you have not accepted the Terms of Use in reliance on any oral or written representations made by us that are not contained herein.

Diaverum reserves the right to amend these Terms of Use from time to time. The date of last modification is stated at the end of these Terms of Use. It is your responsibility to check the Site from time to time for updates. When we make revisions of these Terms of Use, we will inform you by way of a notification on the Site. Current Terms of Use of the Site are available at the Site.Your use of the Site after such change is implemented constitutes your acknowledgement and acceptance of the change. If you do not agree with these Terms of Use, please do not use the Site.

Use of Site

Unless otherwise expressly set out on the Site, all materials, including but not limited to images, illustrations, icons, photographs, technologies, documents, software and services that are part of the Site (collectively the “Materials”) are copyrights, trademarks and/or other intellectual property rights owned by, controlled by or licensed to Diaverum or its affiliated parties. Except as expressly authorized by us, you may not modify, copy, reproduce, republish, transmit, distribute, sell, license, rent, publicly display or perform, edit or adapt, in any manner any Materials.

Notwithstanding the aforesaid, you may print or download Materials from the Site solely for personal and non-commercial use, provided that you do not republish or distribute such Material in any way and that you keep intact all copyright, trademark and other intellectual property notices. Diaverum neither warrants nor represents that your use of Materials displayed on the Site in a way other than viewing this Materials on the Sites  will not infringe rights of third parties not owned by or affiliated with Diaverum.

Use of Materials from the Site for any purpose or in any way not expressly permitted in these Terms of Use or otherwise expressly authorized by us is prohibited.

We expect you to respect the integrity of the Site, and you are, for example, not permitted to (i) introduce malicious content such as malware, Trojan horses or viruses, or content which otherwise interferes with the Site; (ii) artificially manipulate the Site by using scripts, bots, plugins, extensions or other automated processes; (iii) interfere with the Site by tampering with, attempting to probe or testing the vulnerability of the Site; or (iv) otherwise utilize the Services in a way which conflicts with these Terms of Use.

Medical information/conditions

Product information on the Site is provided by Diaverum and is intended for general information purposes only. All information on the Site referring to any products or services does not constitute commercial offer within the meaning of Article 66 of the Civil Code.  Accordingly, no such information shall be construed as medical or other professional advice. Many pharmaceutical and medical device products listed are available upon prescription from a physician or qualified medical professional only, and not all such products may be available in all countries. Should you have a medical condition, promptly see your own medical doctor or health care provider we do not offer personalized medical diagnosis or patient-specific treatment advice. You should always obtain complete medical information about your prescription medicines or medical devices (including their beneficial medical uses and possible adverse effects) by discussing the appropriate use of any medicines or medical devices directly with your prescribing physician or, where appropriate, other medical advisor. Medical professionals may obtain complete medical information from the products’ information leaflet. Information on products may vary by country. Patients, physicians and other medical professionals should check with local medical resources and regulatory authorities for information appropriate to their country. Except for information covered by our Privacy Policy (as set out below), any communication or material you transmit to the Site by electronic mail or otherwise, including any data, questions, comments, suggestions or the like is, and will be treated as, non-confidential and nonproprietary. Anything you transmit or post becomes the property of Diaverum or its affiliates and may be used for any purpose, including, but not limited to, reproduction, disclosure, transmission, publication, broadcast and posting. Furthermore, Diaverum is free to use, without compensation to you, any ideas, concepts, know-how, or techniques contained in any communication you send to the Site for any purpose whatsoever including, but not limited to, developing, manufacturing and marketing products using such information. 

Worldwide products

The Site may contain information on worldwide products and services, not all of which are available in every location. A reference to a product or service on the Site does not imply that such product or service is or will be available in your location. The products referred to on the Site may be subject to specific regulatory requirements depending on the country of use. Consequently, you may be notified that certain sections of the Site are intended only for certain kinds of expert users or only for users in certain countries. 


No information provided on the Site is intended to solicit sales in any jurisdiction where Diaverum is not already doing business directly or through an authorized agent, or to constitute solicitation or promotion for any product which is not authorized for solicitation or promotion in the country where the reader resides.

Diaverum has not reviewed third-party websites which contain links to the Site and is not responsible for the content of any such off-Site pages. If you wish to link your website to Diaverum, you may only link to our home page, or You may not link to any other sites without the prior written consent of Diaverum. If you link to Diaverum, you agree to present the link in a manner that does not give the impression that Diaverum endorses, whether expressly or implicitly, any products, services or opinions provided on your website. Quotation or use of one or more portions of the Site on the website of any third parties without written consent is likewise prohibited. 

Links from the Site to other websites

Links from the Site to other websites which are not owned or managed by us may be provided for the interest or convenience of visitors to the Site. However, once you have used such links to leave the Site, you should note that we have no control over the other website. Therefore, your use of such websites is not governed by our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, but to the policies of that website. A link by Diaverum to another website does not constitute an endorsement, sponsorship of, or affiliation with the third party or content of the linked website. Diaverum accepts no liability for links from us to others, and in particular we are not responsible for the accuracy or legality of the content thereof. We accept no liability deriving from a breach or omission in the privacy policies of third parties. 

Postings to the Site

Diaverum may choose to provide visitors of the Site the opportunity to take part in discussions, chats, transmissions, bulletin boards and similar forums on the Site. You are prohibited from posting or transmitting any offensive, harmful, inaccurate or otherwise inappropriate content (the “Prohibited Content”) in such forums. Diaverum cannot monitor or control content and information provided by visitors in such forums, and takes responsibility or liability for any Prohibited Content provided by visitors of the Site. However, we strive to take down any Prohibited Content on the Site of which we are notified as soon as possible. For this reason, we encourage you to report any content on the Site which is illegal, offensive, abusive or otherwise not in line with these Terms of Use to us. Diaverum will also fully cooperate with any law enforcement authorities or court order requesting or directing Diaverum to disclose the identity of anyone posting any Prohibited Content. 


If we become aware that you have violated any of the terms and conditions contained in these Terms of Use, we may immediately take corrective action, including preventing you from using the services offered by Diaverum and removing any content put on the Site by you, at any moment and without notice. If we have been injured by your violation we may, in our sole discretion, seek to recover damages from you.

Waiver and Severability

Any provisions, disclaimers and limitations of liability in these Terms of Use apply to the maximum extent permitted under applicable law. Your jurisdiction may not allow certain disclaimers of warranties or certain limitations of liability, and as a result certain of the contents of the Terms of Use may not apply to you. Nothing in the Terms of Use are intended to limit any rights you may have which may not be lawfully limited.

The failure to enforce any terms and conditions of these Terms of Use by Diaverum shall not be deemed a waiver of such term or condition.

Should any provision of these Terms of Use be held to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, such provision(s) shall not render invalid or unenforceable the remaining provisions of these Terms of Use, which will remain in full force and effect, and the application of that provision shall be enforced to the extent permitted by law.

Applicable law and jurisdiction

Unless otherwise required by a mandatory law of your jurisdiction, these Terms of Use are subject to the laws of Poland, without regard to choice- or conflicts of law principles, and you and Diaverum agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Poland to resolve any dispute, claim or controversy that arises in connection with these Terms of Use.

Privacy Policy


Your privacy is very important to us and we recognize your need for appropriate protection and management of any personally identifiable information you share with us. Therefore, we have developed this privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”) which describes how we collect and use your personally identifiable information. The Privacy Policy applies only to information gathered by us from the Site and not from any other source; therefore, it does not necessarily reflect our practices with respect to information gathered through offline sources or through other sites owned and managed by Diaverum’s affiliates.

Personally Identifiable Information

Most of Diaverum’s services, features and functions on the Site do not require any form of registration, allowing you to visit the Site without telling us who you are. However, in order to make some services, features and functions available to you, we may request certain personally identifiable information about you. Such personally identifiable information may include, but may not be limited to, your name, the name of your organization (if any), your e-mail address, your mailing address, your telephone number. For some services, you may also be requested to provide certain limited medical information. Every location of the Site where you are requested to submit personally identifiable information will contain a link to this Privacy Policy. By accepting this Privacy Policy and submitting your personally identifiable information at such location, you acknowledge and agree to Diaverum’s collection and use of your personally identifiable information as set forth in this Privacy Policy.

We will collect and use your personally identifiable information solely with the objective of fulfilling those purposes and we will inform you of such purposes when we ask you for your information and your consent to collect and use your personally identifiable information. We will not sell, share or otherwise distribute your personally identifiable information to third parties except as provided in this Privacy Policy.

Under your consent, we may transfer your personally identifiable information to Diaverum affiliates and other third parties with whom Diaverum has a contractual relationship in order to further process your information in accordance with the purpose(s) for which the information was originally collected, such as delivery of services, evaluation or technical support. Such transfer will only occur if the affiliate or third party has contracted with Diaverum that it will only use the personally identifiable information for the agreed upon purpose(s) and within the limits under which the information was originally collected.

We may disclose your personally identifiable information if we are required to do so by applicable law, court order or government regulation, or if such disclosure is otherwise necessary in support of any legal or criminal investigation.

Additionally, in the event of a reorganization, merger or sale, we may transfer your personally identifiable information to the relevant third party, provided that such party agrees to treat the personally identifiable information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

We may obtain the services of outside parties to assist us in collecting and processing the information described in this section and all such third parties will be placed under the obligations described above.

You are entitled to require information on whether Diaverum processes personally identifiable information concerning you, as well as information on the extent and purpose of such processing. Your requests will be dealt with in a prompt and proper manner. Requests to delete personally identifiable information will be subject to any applicable regulatory or legal requirement.

Security and Confidentiality

To ensure the security and confidentiality of your personally identifiable information, we use data networks which are protected by, inter alia, industry standard firewall and password protection. We have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personally identifiable information against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction.

Transfer of Personally identifiable information abroad

Since Diaverum is a multinational corporation, we have databases in different jurisdictions and under your consent we may transfer your personally identifiable information to one of Diaverum’s databases outside your country of domicile. Consequently, your personally identifiable information may be transferred to a database in a country outside of the European Economic Area (“EEA”). These countries may not have similar data protection laws to the EEA. If we transfer your personally identifiable information outside of the EEA in this way, we will take steps to ensure that your personally identifiable information is adequately protected.


We may collect and process anonymous information about your visit to the Site, such as some of the pages you visit and some of the searches you perform. Such anonymous information is used by us to help improve the contents of the Sites and to compile statistics about individuals using the Sites for internal, market research purposes. If we make any changes to this Privacy Policy and the way in which we use your personally identifiable information we will post these changes on this page. If at any point we decide to use your personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected and agreed by you, we will ask you for your consent and  you will have the right to notify us that you do not want us to use your personally identifiable information in this different manner.
