The first LATAM Touch Navigators meeting
This first meeting of the Touch Navigators in Latin America was a chance to reflect on their achievements and also to imagine the future of the programme in the region.
The event, held in early November, brought together all local navigators and served as a platform for sharing the best practices that the programme has created during its first two years.
For example, the clinic in Bariloche has developed a recipe book in order to contribute to patients’ adherence to diet. Another example from Bariloche was the Organ Donation Conferences held in local schools. The idea was to discuss the myths around this issue and the fears of people at the earliest ages so that they know and understand the information that supports decisions on organ donation.
