Diaverum and M42 Health proudly participated in the 2025 AAHCI Middle East and North Africa Regional Meeting, held from 2–4 May at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. Under the theme “Global Health Systems and Workforce Summit”, the event convened global academic health leaders to address physician workforce challenges, health systems innovation, and sustainable care models.

Dr Fernando Macário, Chief Medical Officer for M42’s Global Patient Care platform and Diaverum, joined a distinguished line-up of speakers to share his perspective on “Delivering High-Value Care Through Clinical Governance". During the session, Fernando emphasised how strong governance structures—anchored in transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement—are fundamental to scaling value-based, AI-enabled, and patient-centred care across complex health systems.

“Robust clinical governance provides the foundation on which high-value, technology-enabled care can be delivered sustainably and ethically,” said Fernando. “It ensures that innovation serves patient outcomes, not the other way around.”

The AAHCI MENA 2025 meeting was co-hosted by the Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU) and Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. The agenda featured sessions on medical education, licensure, systems thinking, and digital innovation—highlighting cross-border collaboration to address the most pressing global health challenges.

Diaverum’s participation in AAHCI MENA 2025 reflects its continued commitment to delivering True care through strategic partnerships and thought leadership.
