We are pleased to announce that Diaverum UK has been awarded a significant new contract to supply life-enhancing renal care in Gloucestershire.

The tender, which was submitted in September 2023, came through the Gloucestershire NHS Foundations Trust Tender for ‘The Provision of a Renal Dialysis Managed Service’. It encompasses the units of Cotswolds, Severn and Ward B, which are located in Gloucester NHS Hospital, as well as the Forest Unit in Cinderford.

This announcement marks Diaverum UK’s further expansion into South West England, where it has established itself as a long-term provider of renal care services. With the addition of these units, more than 225 patients in the area will now have access to our world-class, life-enhancing renal care, delivered through our standardised, proprietary care delivery model, enabled by our continuously evolving digital infrastructure.

The new contract has already commenced for all four units. It encompasses the provision of fully managed services, including nursing, consumables, some pharmaceuticals, equipment and facilities.

Commenting on the news, Lisa Jordan, Managing Director for Diaverum UK, said: “This latest win is fantastic news for Diaverum and serves to underscore the growth trajectory we’re on in the UK. There were a number of our competitors involved in what was a highly competitive tender. Our bid – combining best-in-class care at the right pricing - was clearly a compelling and winning offer. Many thanks to everyone involved for this tremendous win.”

With this news, Diaverum UK has expanded its presence to 38 clinics across the country, with more than 700 staff caring for over nearly 3,300 patients, making it one of our most dynamic and significant areas for growth worldwide.
