We are proud to announce that all Diaverum dialysis clinics in France have been successfully certified by the Haute Autorité de Santé (HAS) as part of the 2023–2025 certification cycle, confirming the strength of our quality standards and our continued commitment to safe, high-quality patient care.

Mandatory for all healthcare institutions, HAS certification is one of the most demanding evaluation frameworks in the French healthcare system. Based on a national reference framework of nearly 600 criteria, it assesses patient safety, medication management, clinical practices, risk management and patient experience. Importantly, the process evaluates not only documented procedures, but also how care is delivered in practice through on-site audits carried out by independent experts.

Nationally, while 90.5% of healthcare institutions are found to meet quality standards, only 23.8% achieve the “High Quality of Care” distinction, underlining the selectiveness and rigor of this recognition.

Against this demanding national benchmark, Diaverum France achieved outstanding results:

  • 100% of clinics certified
  • 15 clinics awarded “High Quality of Care”
  • 4 clinics awarded “Confirmed Quality of Care”
  • Compliance scores ranging from 96.8% to 99%
  • Certification granted for a period of four years

These results reflect both the strength of Diaverum France’s organisation and the remarkable dedication of our medical, nursing and support teams, whose daily work ensures the highest standards of care for our patients, guided by our culture of True care and our Care Delivery Model

Commenting on this achievement, Francesco Rabasco, Country Manager of Diaverum France, said: “I am extremely proud of the results achieved by Diaverum France. They reflect a sustained collective effort to strengthen our organisation, enhance our practices, and place quality and patient safety at the heart of every decision we make. At a time when expectations around quality, transparency, and performance continue to rise, this recognition underscores the strength of our care delivery model and reinforces our commitment to continuous innovation and the delivery of high-quality, sustainable care”.

Valérie Boireau, Director of Quality and Care, added: “This certification reflects the reality of care delivered every day in our clinics. It recognises the dedication and professionalism of our teams and their consistent alignment with the highest standards. Beyond the results themselves, it is our culture of continuous improvement, feedback, and robust risk management that truly sets us apart. We will continue to build on these achievements, support our teams, and further strengthen our practices for the benefit of patient safety and quality of care”.

Currently, we operate 19 clinics in France, located in the regions of Île-de-France and Provence-Alpes-Côte-d’Azur, as well as in Angers and Mulhouse, where 750 staff provide life-enhancing care to almost 2,000 patients.
