Diaverum Singapore has received the Good Distribution Practice for Medical Devices in Singapore (GDPMDS) SS620:2016 (2021) certification. This recognised benchmark confirms Diaverum Singapore’s quality system and distribution operations meet Singapore’s Good Distribution Practice requirements for medical devices. It underscores the organisation’s commitment to meeting the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance in the storage and distribution of medical devices.

With this certification, Diaverum Singapore will begin bringing in selected medical consumables directly for its own clinic consumption – marking a significant step towards improving both supply autonomy and product consistency within its operations. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to enhance operational efficiency, optimise cost savings, and strengthen supply chain reliability across Diaverum Singapore’s network of dialysis clinics – ultimately ensuring uninterrupted access to essential materials that support high-quality patient care.

Commenting on the achievement, Venanssa Goh, Country Manager of Diaverum Singapore, said: “I’m incredibly proud of the Diaverum Singapore team for achieving the GDPMDS SS620:2016 (2021) certification. It reflects the discipline and care we apply every day to ensure our medical devices and consumables are handled safely, consistently, and in full compliance with local requirements. Moving forward, this provides a stronger foundation for supply reliability across our clinics, so we can stay focused on what matters most: delivering life-enhancing, world-class care for our patients.”

Amantur Ryskulov, General Manager for Central Asia and Southeast Asia, added: “This certification is an important milestone for Diaverum Singapore and a strong signal of our commitment to robust governance and operational excellence. By strengthening our distribution and quality systems in Singapore, we are improving resilience and efficiency within our supply chain, enabling our teams to better support clinics, respond to changing needs, and continue raising standards of care as demand for dialysis services grows.”

Chronic kidney disease remains a significant health burden in Singapore, which is ranked among the highest globally for the incidence and prevalence of kidney failure, and demand for dialysis services is steadily increasing. Against this backdrop, Diaverum remains committed to investing in quality systems and operational improvements that support safe, dependable care for all patients and communities it serves.
